before i die... a community art project started by artist candy chang. she painted a wall in her neighbourhood with blackboard paint and left the stenciled message 'before i die' as a jumping off point for people to write their own motivations in life. this project has served as an interesting and inspiring focal point for communities to consider their purpose.
