When I was a child, I was always curious about who came up with the proverbs we had to memorize in school and how they became so popular. I was happy to find out that words can become popular and accepted by people even if they come from a random situation. For example, if there was no internet, high school students would still use this word, but they wouldn't know where it came from. This is how proverbs and idioms are created.
