He was a musician in the 1960s who made music that was easy to listen to. He was a big fan of Paul Mauriat and helped make him popular. He arranged some of the most memorable songs, such as "Concerto pour une Voix", "The Days the Rain Came" (a song by Gilbert Becaud), and "A Whiter Shade of Pale".
