If you don't get a Gold Membership, you won't be able to do any listening activities. Other than that, the site is nearly perfect. It is a shame that it is only focused on English, but it is great for improving English. It has a lot of TED videos, books, and songs. If I can get a discount, I won't let it pass me by. Goldlu is great!

I started using a website to learn vocabulary and it was absolutely perfect. However, all the features on the website, except for learning vocabulary, are only available to gold members, so I also use Duolingo for grammar.

The best English education app of all time has a limitation: it only allows word-for-word translation. Once they start to change the patterns, it will be inedible.

Ted Talks videos, with their short but concise stories, have taken me away from myself. I can confidently say that they are the best way to practice and study vocabulary.

This application provides the opportunity to watch TED speeches with English subtitles. You can quickly learn the meaning of words in conversations that you are unfamiliar with, and you can add them to your dictionary if desired. Afterwards, you can practice repeating these words.
