The person who united Yugoslavia was very important to the people living there. He was the only one who could make Serbians, Croatians, Bosnians, and their neighbors get along. Even the smallest shops had his picture hanging up like a decoration. People were thankful for him, but unfortunately the union he created no longer exists. It's hard to say if it was a good thing or not. It might be good for people who don't like the Serbs, but it also means more borders. This is someone I really admire.
When Ismet Inonu met Tito, he was introduced as a high-ranking military leader and the President of Turkey. Tito then shook Ismet Inonu's hand and said "Hello, I'm Tito".
We don't want anything from anyone and we don't give away anything that belongs to us. This message was written on the door of a city and it is still relevant today.
