extrasystols

The heart will sometimes suddenly stop beating for a second, then start again with a stronger beat than usual. This can happen multiple times a day, or it may not happen for weeks.

extrasystols

The reason why I shake when my heart beats once per second is because there is too much electricity in my heart. This can be caused by things like smoking, drinking alcohol, eating too much, stress, and not getting enough sleep. When my heart beats twice in one second, it is not as noticeable because it is a lighter beat. Normally, the heart will rest instead of beating in the next second.

extrasystols

When you focus on listening to your heartbeat, it takes a few seconds before you can hear it. As you keep listening, the time between each beat gets longer and the next beat will be louder.

Extrasystoles are extra heartbeats that almost everyone has, but most people don't notice them. Some people have more of these extra heartbeats than others, but they are usually not dangerous. This can be seen on an ECG (heart test).
