I was wondering if the movie was filmed in Pripyat, a city in Ukraine. I would love to visit Pripyat and take pictures, but after watching the movie, it seems like it might be difficult. The movie reminded me of the video games Call of Duty and S.T.A.L.K.E.R., as well as the game Call of Pripyat.
Even though the movie is not good, it starts off by giving viewers a sense of what the area where the events take place is like, almost like a documentary.
A new movie directed by the same person who made the movie Paranormal Activity is coming out. It follows a group of friends who go on vacation to Eastern Europe and end up in a ghost town near the site of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. You can watch the trailer to get a sneak peek of the movie.
Instead of watching the movie about Chernobyl, it would be more beneficial to look at Elena Filatova's website to learn more about it. This would be a better use of time than just watching the movie.
