censoring blade runner 2049

I am eagerly awaiting a movie, and it is disheartening to hear news that could potentially mean the film will not have any surprises. If I go to the theater now, I will be left wondering what was censored. It is unfortunate that we have to endure such a penalty of three to five branches.

It is a shame that Warner Bros. officially accepted censorship for the movie Turkey, specifically censoring nudity by either skipping scenes or using zooms that were famously the director's hand.

That is sufficient reason not to watch the movie in theaters. It would not be sensible to give money to the distributor or the company of the film, simply because they have censored the film. We will instead watch it through digital distribution or on Blu-ray/DVD.

Dear Ismail and Mahmut Warner, My wife and I were planning to pay 50 TL to watch your movie featuring robots and replicas. However, since you are abiding by the regulations set by the local authorities in our country, we will instead use the 50 TL to buy hamburgers and wait to download your movie from a torrent site and watch it on the wall of our house in high resolution. Best of luck.

The filmmakers have taken into account the age limit and released the movie as a whole. Those who don't agree with the version of the movie won't watch it.

I was eagerly awaiting the magnificent work, but it was ruined by an attempt to tamper with it. Specifically, during the production of the replicants, certain parts of their birth were cut in a way that detracted from the visuals. It is a disgrace that this event was noticed in the press screening only two or three days before the film was released. If not for those who noticed, no one would have known. Shame on you.

We strongly oppose piracy, but we are even more opposed to censorship of piracy. We respect a director's right to make their own choices and we will not restrict or deny access to art.
