A very small amount of a certain poison can kill a lot of people. This poison is made by bacteria, so it is not easy to get.

It is a type of sickness caused by eating contaminated food that can be deadly.

A group of 17 people ate the same food and 14 of them died from a type of poisoning caused by a toxin produced by Clostridium botulinum bacteria. Two people were saved due to intense efforts, and one person did not have any problems even after eating the same food twice. This type of poisoning cannot be prevented.

Botulinum toxin is a poison that stops the release of a chemical called acetylcholine from nerve cells. It does this by affecting an enzyme called phospholipase A2.

Eating spoiled food can make you sick because it contains a poison made by a type of bacteria called Clostridium botulinum.
