This text is talking about a TV series that showed us how people were feeling self-conscious about comparing the leader of a group of people who were killed to a baby killer. Even though the person writing this did not watch the series, they watched the facts and were old enough to understand what was going on. They are expressing their sadness that they could not help the person named Aliya and their country in time.

Bosnians use the name Ali in a special way because the word "Ali" in Bosnian (or Serbo-Croatian) means "but". Since no one would want to name their child "but", they came up with this arrangement. Similarly, the leader of a mosque is called a Mufti because "Imam" is the first singular form of the Bosnian word for "have".

The series is about the life of the first president of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was able to figure out the people who were trying to spread false rumors about him, even though they were very clever.

The name Ali is pronounced differently in Bosnia than in other places. Instead of saying Ali, it is pronounced Aliya. This is because of the way the Bosnian language works. The name Aliya is written with the same Arabic letters as Ali, just like Mehmet is written the same as Muhammed.

I watched a show for about ten minutes and saw a scene with Turgut Ozal. He was talking to Aliya Izzetbegovic and said that he couldn't tell her how many Bosnians were in the country, but he could say that they had 70 million brothers. He thought that the population was not that high and that the writers of the show made a mistake by saying 70 million.
